Henderson Garage Door T-Handle Lock

This locking T-handle will suit Henderson garage doors made before 1992. These are commonly known as Pre-Premier garage doors. Available in 5 sizes, with the spigot and spindle length taken measuring from the lock baseplate. The most common option is with 35mm spigots and a 31mm spindle found on Henderson Merlin horizontal garage doors.

Available in five sizes:

• 'DLB' type - 35mm spigots and 57mm spindle (as Henderson part number 032114)
• Merlin type - 35mm spigots and 31mm spindle
• 'RLB' type - 35mm spigots and 74mm spindles (as Henderson part number 032085)
• 18mm spigots and 74mm spindle
• 15mm spigots and 31mm spindle

The lock comes complete with 2 keys and fixing screws.

How can I identify if this is the T-Handle Lock I need?

This lock is suitable for use on all pre-1992 Henderson garage doors with T-handle locking.

I have lost my keys, can I just buy replacement ones?

The answer to this is sadly no, as replacement keys are no longer available for Henderson garage door locks. For security purposes, it is much safer to replace the lock if you have misplaced your garage door keys.

How can I install this Henderson T-Handle Lock?

Use a screwdriver to remove the existing locking handle from the door by removing the two fixing screws from the inside. The new lock can then be put in place, with the internal locking mechanism reconnected. Reconnect any locking bars or latch cables on the inside to complete the installation and return your locking mechanism to full working order.
