Garador Press & Lift Handle

In StockPush in & lift handle and pin to suit Garador / Westland / Catnic garage doors from 1971 to 1984. Earlier doors with a wide shank handle will need a conversion kit.
This cast metal garage door handle is distinctive in its operation, whereby the top of the handle is pressed with the thumb, and then the handle is lifted in order to disengage the top latch on the garage door, which unlocks the door.

Step 1: Disconnect latch mechanism from the rear of existing handle.
Step 2: Remove retaining pin from existing handle and remove handle from the front of the door.
Step 3: Insert new handle through the front of the door and secure in place using retaining pin and nut.
Step 4: Reconnect latch mechanism to the rear of new handle, and ensure door locks and unlocks.
