Garador Mk3c Roller Spindles

A pair of roller spindles to suit Garador Mk3c garage doors with an overhead springbox, manufactured pre-1999. The spindles come complete with cable brackets and fixing nuts and washers.

How can I identify if this is the correct part for my garage?

If the door is a Mk3c-type door with an overhead springbox then these spindles should be compatible with the door. The door will often have a label on the back of the door displaying the door make and model.

The nylon rollers measure 22mm in diameter, and the length of the spindle under the head of the roller is 65mm (excluding thread). The length including the roller wheel is 85mm.

How can I install these roller spindles?

The spindles are secured to the brackets with a nut. Removing the nut will allow the spindle to be removed, and replaced with the new spindle. Please note that the springs should be locked under tension to make installation easier and avoid injury.
